Frequently Asked Questions

These are some common questions I received.

1. How do I use the space saver bags?

a. Place the items you want to compress inside the bag.
b. Ziplock the bag completely, either with the blue clip provided, or your fingers.
c. Unscrew the yellow cap on the bag.
d. Place the vacuum cleaner hose over the valve and on the vacuum cleaner.
e. Stop vacuuming when you are satisfied with the flatness.
f. Screw the yellow cap back.

2. How do I use the manual air extractor?

a. Check whether the air extractor is working by placing it on your thigh and pulling the handle. If you feel pressure on your thigh, the air extractor is working fine.
b. Place the items you want to compress inside the bag.
c. Ziplock the bag completely, either with the blue clip provided, or your fingers.
d. Unscrew the yellow cap on the bag.
e. Place the air extractor over the valve and pull the handle of the extractor up and down many times. You will feel air escaping from the top of the handle.
f. Stop pulling when you are satisfied with the flatness. (It takes around 3 to 5 min to compress an S bag.
g. Screw the yellow cap back.

3. Can I use the space saver bags to keep leather/ fur/ feather coats?

No. It’s not advisable to keep these products in the vacuum bag, as the vacuum may spoil the material.

4. Why is your packaging for the space saver bags so minimalistic?

At Mummycents.com, the no frills packaging reduces raw materials and wastage, and thus translates to cost savings to the company and ultimately, you, the customer. :)

5. I noticed you use recycled paper bags/ envelopes for my order. Why?

‘Cos we love the environment, that’s why. :) And cos recycled packaging reduces raw materials and wastage, and translates to cost savings to the company, and ultimately, you. :)

6. When will you mail out my orders?

All stocks in this shop are ready stocks, and will be mailed out the next working day upon payment.

7. I don’t have paypal account. Then how? :(
No problem. You can do interbank transfer to POSB Savings 115-66477-8, UOB a/c 330-391-908-0, or OCBC a/c 553-5-022114. All of Singapore’s major banks are here! :D

8. My question is not answered here. Now what?
